Hiking on the alpine tundra feels like you’re walking on top of the world, and one of the best ways to experience that is hiking to the summit of Mount Ida in Rocky Mountain National Park. The majority of this almost 10 mile roundtrip journey is above treeline and in my opinion is one of the best alpine hiking experiences in Rocky.
