A rare visit from two Sabine's Gulls

Bird expert, Scott Rashid, recently stumbled upon a rare sighting of two juvenile Sabine’s Gulls in Estes Park, CO. After contacting our production team, we met Scott to film these two captivating seabirds. Sabine’s Gulls undertake a long trans-equatorial migration, traveling from their Arctic breeding grounds (literally on top of the world) to wintering sites in the Southern Hemisphere - making it one of the longest and most complex migrations of any gull species.
