According to the National Park Service - Haiyaha is an indigenous word that means "rock" or "lake of many rocks", or "big rocks". It all depends on the translation.
The route we chose for this journey is a moderate 6.4 mile loop that will take us past four magnificent subalpine lakes and Alberta Falls.
Once at the Lake you will enjoy stunning views of Chaos Canyon, Otis Peak and Hallet Peak.
