Documentary, Educational, Travel, 13-Aug-2025
Sean, Michelle, John and Claire experience first hand that the alpine tundra is indeed the "Land of Extremes" as they tackle a challenging hike to the summit of Mount Ida.
Hiking on the alpine tundra feels like you’re walking on top of the world, and one of the best ways to experience that is hiking to the summit of Mount Ida in Rocky Mountain National Park. The majority of this almost 10 mile roundtrip journey is above treeline and in my opinion is one of the best alpine hiking experiences in Rocky.
Hiking Difficulty - Strenuous
Round Trip Length - 9.6 miles
